Cemetery Trustees

Present: Ruth Hammen, Scott Marston, Fred Shaw, Steve Rouleau (Steve’s Quality Services)
The Trustees met at the Town Hall at 9am to discuss contract details for cemetery mowing and maintenance for the year 2011 with Steve Rouleau who was selected by the Trustees at their December meeting to be awarded the contract.
First, Trustees, Ruth Hammen and Fred Shaw, welcomed Scott Marston to the Cemetery Trustees. He has been appointed by the Selectmen to fill out the remainder of Robin Stephen’s term.
Details of the contract and expectations were shared and agreed upon. A contract for cemetery maintenance was signed. The Trustees will tour the cemeteries with Steve in the spring to prioritize maintenance needs.
The Trustees have been advised that the selectmen and budget committee have proposed a 15% ($2300) budget cut for next year. If this cut passes, the Trustees will need to examine cemetery maintenance priorities.
